Description: Second part of the introductory course that covers the principles of physics underlying the biological and life sciences. Topics include fluids and fluid flow; thermodynamics; mechanical oscillations; sound and light waves; geometrical optics; reflection; refraction; lens; microscopy; interference; and diffraction.
Credit: Credit is awarded for one of the following PHYS 002B, PHYS 02HB, PHYS 040B, PHYS 040HB, or PHYS 041B.
