Description: Covers topics in classical mechanics including Newton’s laws of motion in one and two dimensions; gravity; work, energy, and conservation of energy; momentum and collisions; rotational motion; and orbital motion. First part of the course covers the principles of physics underlying the biological and life sciences.
Credit: Credit is awarded for one of the following PHYS 002A, PHYS 02HA, PHYS 040A, PHYS 040HA, or PHYS 041A.
