Prerequisites: concurrent enrollment in WRIT 009L; must be invited by the Director of the UWP based on the UCR Writing Placement Process (WPP)
Description: Introduces strategies of personal writing by fostering awareness of writing and reading, encouraging the consideration of audience and conventions of genre in smaller class environments with an embedded tutor. Considers responses to different rhetorical situations. Passing students satisfy UC ELWR and are eligible for WRIT 020 or WRIT 020S.
Credit: Credit is awarded for one of the following WRIT 009, WRIT 010, or WRIT 010S.
