Prerequisites: concurrent enrollment in WRIT 009; must be invited by the Director of the UWP to WRIT 009 based on the UCR Writing Placement Process (WPP)
Description: Focuses on mastery of principles and applications of academic language and idiomatic expression, as well as critical reading, narrative structures, and initial argumentation fundamentals, for students who do not need, or have advanced beyond, second-language instruction. Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). Course is repeatable to a maximum of 3 units.
