Prerequisites: concurrent enrollment in WRIT 005; WRIT 003 with a grade of S or better; or placement into WRIT 005 by the University Writing Program’s Writing Placement Process (WPP)
Description: Reinforces principles and applications of English grammar and idiomatic expression, critical reading, and rhetorical practice. Advances student academic discourse skills through process-based composition strategies, reading comprehension strategies for a variety of subjects, and rhetorical grammar. Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). Course is repeatable to a maximum of 3 units.
