Description: Covers electromagnetism and a brief introduction to applications-based quantum physics. Topics include electric force, fields, potential; Gauss’ law; magnetic fields; Ampere’s law; Faraday’s law; electromagnetic waves; dc circuits; concept of photon, matter waves, energy levels, and radioactivity. Laboratory exercises illustrate experimental foundations and applications. For engineering and physical science majors.
