Description: Honors course corresponding to PHYS 002B. Second part of a limited enrollment course in which the principles of physics underlying the biological and life sciences are covered in more depth than in PHYS 002B. Topics include fluids and fluid flow, thermodynamics, mechanical oscillations, sound and light waves, geometrical optics, reflection, refraction, lens, microscopy; interference and diffraction.
