Description: Laboratory and written exercises in diagnostic bacteriology, basic virology, and epidemiology. Topics include fundamental quantitative and diagnostic microbiological procedures, basic mechanisms of microbial genetic exchange, and a project examining bacterial epidemiology. Restricted to major(s) in Microbiology.
