Description: Introduces the process of performing experimental research in a microbiology laboratory. Teaches skills used in formulating hypotheses, designing experiments, performing laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and preparing and presenting research in written and oral formats. Experimental systems utilized vary from quarter to quarter. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 12 units.
