Description: Analyzes the relationship between religion and oppression, including religion as target of oppres- sion, religion as cause of oppression, and religion as mitigating or exacerbating force in oppression. Reli- gious studies, feminist, critical race, queer, and post/ anti-colonial theoretical perspectives undergrid the analysis.
