Description: Analyzes the relationship between religion and oppression, including religion as target of oppression, religion as cause of oppression, and religion as mitigating or exacerbating force in oppression. Religious studies, feminist, critical race, queer, and post/ anti-colonial theoretical perspectives undergrid the analysis.
