Hello! I'm Taz

I'm finishing up my combined BS+MS program in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Riverside. My interests lie in game development, machine learning/artificial intelligence, programming/development, and any opportunity to learn something new!

In the field of engineering, I'm passionate about:

1. Accessibility: Using technology to aid poeple with disabilites, helping underserved communities and the biomedical field.
2. Encouraging females and minorities in male dominated fields, especially in engineering and computer science.
3. Using Artificial Intelligence to make real-time language translation seamless and effective. In my opinion, I think language is the main factor in forming bonds, connecting and sharing stories with one another.
4. Sustainability and climate change. In any field, we need to work hard to save the Earth we live in.

Background/Interests:

My hometown is Henderson, Nevada since I've spent the most of my life there. However, I've moved around a lot in my life and have had the chance to attend school in 4 countries (United States, Pakistan, Korea, China). I absolutely love to travel and learn about new cultures and languages from around the world.
