Prerequisites: concurrent enrollment in WRIT 008; placement into WRIT 008 by the University Writing Program’s Writing Placement Process (WPP)
Description: Focuses on mastery of principles and applications of academic language, rhetoric, and intensive critical reading with attention to tone, rhetoric, and evidence. Includes writing effective and persuasive essays, writing and delivering speeches, and delivering multimodal presentations. Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). Course is repeatable to a maximum of 3 units.
