Description: Provides a broad understanding of the politics and economics of countries that border the Pacific Rim, such as Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and China, and of their relationship to the United States. Addresses major issues including economic growth, sociopolitical development, trade, and interdependence.
