Description: Covers fundamental topics in materials science and engineering such as phase binary and ternary phase diagrams; phase transformations; applications and processing of metal alloys, structures, properties; and processing of ceramic materials, polymers, and characterization techniques. The laboratory hands on experience complements topics covered during the lectures.
