Description: Examines gender and disability from a feminist perspective. Explores how gender and disability shape all aspects of social life including institutions, identities, bodies, and discourses. Introduces feminist and queer theories of disability. Engages with societal responses to disability such as eugenics, exclusion, and institutionalization. Considers possibilities for feminist disability justice.
