Description: Introduces interactions in interfacial phenomena; contact angle and wetting; adsorption, desorption, and removal; adhesion; aggregation, flocculation and colloidal stability; crystallization and self- and directed-assembly; friction, lubrication, and wear; and surface modifications. Also covers the interdisciplinary nature of interfacial science and its role in developing advanced materials and technologies. Credit is only awarded for CEE 146 or CEE 246.
