Description: Examines economic and political outcomes and assumes these are mutually constitutive. Focuses on macro- level phenomena and takes the global political economy (as it varies structurally and historically) as its unit of analysis. Applies the scientific method and draws broadly from qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Credit: Credit is awarded for one of the following SOC 035 or SOC 035S.
