Description: This course covers the essential mathematics for quantum mechanics at the upper-division level. It applies linear algebra to finite and infinite dimensional vector spaces. Topics include: matrices, linear equations, bases, eigenvectors and eigenvalues, functions as infinite-dimensional vectors, differential operators as matrices, Fourier transforms, and eigenfunctions of common differential operators.
