Description: This course covers the essential mathematics for quantum mechanics at the upper-division level. It applies linear algebra to ?nite and in?nite dimensional vector spaces. Topics include: matrices, linear equations, bases, eigenvectors and eigenvalues, functions as in?nite-dimensional vectors, di?erential operators as matrices, Fourier transforms, and eigenfunctions of common di?erential operators.
