Prerequisites: graduate standing; or consent of instructor
Description: Provides foundational knowledge on analysis, control, and programming of robots. Considers configuration space, rigid body motion, forward, inverse and velocity kinematics, dynamics, trajectory planning, robot motion control, localization and mapping, and robot ethics. Integrates hands- on labs to program robots in simulation and experimentally by reading and interpreting sensor data.
Credit: May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Credit is awarded for one of the following EE 283A, EE 144, or ME 144.
