Description: For ME 227 online section, enrollment in the Online Master-in-Science in Engineering program; graduate standing. Introduces concepts of vehicle energy and fuel consumption. Develops models of contemporary vehicle propulsion systems including internal combustion engines, electric propulsion, hybrid propulsion and fuel-cell based propulsion. Introduces concepts of supervisory control strategies for vehicle propulsion.
