Prerequisites: graduate standing; HISE 151, HISE 152 or equivalents
Description: A seminar on seventeenth- and eighteenth-century English history emphasizing on the historical literature within the field. Covers appropriate primary sources and secondary literature. After completing both HIST 256A and HIST 256B, students may repeat the sequence once for credit; total credit for each course may not exceed 8 units.
