Description: Honors course corresponding to BCH 100. Introduction to the biochemistry of living organisms based on a study of the structure, function, and metabolism of small molecules and macromolecules of biological significance. Examines selected animals, plants, and microorganisms to develop a general understanding of structure-function relationships, enzyme action, regulation, bioenergetics, and intermediary metabolism.
