Description: Prerequisite (s): second year standing in medical school. Covers the pathophysiology, pharmacology, physical diagnosis & treatment of infectious diseases, clinical hematology, oncology,epidemiology & clinical reasoning skills. Utilizes weekly cases presented through lecture, small group discussions, laboratories & conferences. Also covers aspects of anatomy, doctoring, patient examination & LACE. Includes problem-based learning. Graded In Progress (IP) until MDCL 236, MDCL 237, MDCL 238, MDCL 239 and MDCL 240 are completed, at which time a final grade is assigned.
