Description: Studies myths and mythological figures in seventeeth- through twentieth-century French texts. Focuses on literature (theatre, short stories, and novels), film, painting, and popular culture. Myths include Pygmalion, Venus, Orpheus, Narcissus and Echo, and Icarus. Course conducted in French.
