Description: Studies myths and mythological figures in 17th- through 20th-century French texts. Focuses on literature (theatre, short stories, and novels), and film, painting, and popular culture. Myths include Pygmalion, Venus, Orpheus, Narcissus and Echo, and Icarus. Course is conducted in French.
