Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor
Description: Interdisciplinary and international view of the social sciences of poverty. Topics include causes, consequences and potential solutions to poverty. Different social science method- ologies and theories will be compared, and relevant social policies will be evaluated and debated.
