Description: Theory and practice of environmental economics and its ap- plication to environmental policymaking. Applies tools of economic theory to problems of managing natural resources and environmental quality, with particular emphasis on externalities, sustainability, pollution con- trol, resource extraction, and environmental valuation. Alternative public policy instruments for environmental management are considered and evaluated.
