Description: Prereq- uisite(s): graduate standing; HISE 151, HISE 152 or equivalents; HIST 256A. A seminar on seventeenth- and eighteenth-century English history emphasizing the historical literature within the field. Includes completion of a research paper. After completing both HIST 256A and HIST 256B, students may repeat the sequence once for credit; total credit for each course may not exceed 8 units.
