Description: Examines reproductive policies, politics, and practices from a cross-cultural and historical per- spective. Discusses political and economic processes and sociocultural dynamics; population control; sex preference; infanticide and neonatal neglect; adoption and foster parenting; abortion; technologically assisted conception; and gestational surrogacy.
