Description: This course examines the interdependence between personal characteristics. African American culture, and the social conditions which foster the Black experience. Group member- ship, life styles, role factors, and situational settings as social norms will be explored in order to understand the uniqueness of the Black experience. Cross-listed with PSYC 168. Fulfills the Social Sciences require- ment for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
