Description: This course examines the interdependence between personal characteristics. African American culture, and the social conditions which foster the Black experience. Group membership, life styles, role factors, and situational settings as social norms will be explored in order to understand the uniqueness of the Black experience. Cross-listed with PSYC 168. Fulfills the Social Sciences require ment for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
