Description: Introduces performance optimi- zation for sequential computer programs. Covers high performance computing on multicore shared memory computers and on distributed memory computing clusters. Also covers high performance scientific li- braries and computing application development using pthreads, OpenMP, and Message Passing Interface (MPI) parallel file systems.
