Description: An analysis of cell, tissue, and organ structure and function in normal and diseased conditions. Topics include the musculoskeletal, circulatory, and autonomic nervous systems; glands and hormones; body fluids and the kidney; digestion and absorption; and pharmacology and hematology. BIOL 161A, BIOL 161B, BIOL 171, and BIOL 171L provide a one-year sequence in verte- brate and human anatomy and physiology.
