Description: Overview of the literature in International Political Economy IPE relevant to the study of trade and globalization. Introduces the relationship between international politics and the world economy. Evaluates theoretical debates relevant to trade politics including economic growth and development, gender, environmental protection, migration, trade in services and intellectual property protection.
Credit: May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Credit is awarded for only one of POSC 214 or POSC 264.
