Prerequisites: admission to the University Honors Program or consent of instructor

Description: Honors course corresponding to WMST 020. An introduction to the social, political, and legal concerns surrounding women’s issues and feminist movements worldwide. Examines topics such as abortion, contraception, and sexual violence within a comparative and international framework. Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grading is not available. Credit is awarded for only one of WMST 020 or WMST 020H. Fulfills either the Humanities or Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Scienc es, but not both.
