Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor; HIST 276A
Description: A continuation of HIST 276A. Students conduct research on the topics selected in HIST 276A. Additional readings may be assigned at the discretion of the instructor. At the term’s end, students present their findings through an original historical research paper. Instructors may also assign oral presentations of research findings. After completing both HIST 276A and HIST 276B, students may repeat the sequence once for credit; total credit for each course may not exceed 8 units.
