Description: Provides a bioengineering approach to the physiological properties and interactions of various mammalian organ systems. Covers the nervous, muscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, and renal systems. Emphasizes the physical and engineering principles governing these systems by applying quantitative and analytical approaches.
Credit: May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Credit is awarded for only one of BIEN 223 or BIEN 223V.
