Prerequisites: first-year standing in medical school or the graduate program in Biomedical Sciences or consent of instructor; BMSC 229 or BMSC 231
Description: Covers physiology, pathophysiology, physical diagnosis, and imaging in the cardiovascular, renal, and respiratory sciences. Instruction is driven by cases and accomplished through lectures and discovery in small group discussions, laboratories, and conferences. Students using this course to fulfill requirements for the B.S. or Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences receive a letter grade; other students receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade.
