Prerequisites: ENGL 001B or equivalent with a grade of “C” or better; PSYC 001, PSYC 002, PSYC 011 with grades of “C-” or better; consent of instructor is required for students repeating the course; enrollment priority is given to Psychology majors
Description: A systematic survey of research methodologies in psychology. Laboratory assignments include evaluating and testing psychological theories; assessing methodologies and research designs; designing and implementing research; collecting data and analyzing statistics; writing research reports; and discussing ethical issues in science.
