Description: An in-depth study of routing in computer networks. Examines general principles and specific routing protocols and technologies. Topics include Internet, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), optical, wireless, and ad hoc networks. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) by students advanced to candidacy for the Ph.D.
