Description: Examines the image of women and the role of women in fashioning visual culture through museums and collections in Washington, D.C. Investigates the representation of women in art; the woman artist; and women as patrons, donors, and decorators in Washington. Cross-listed with AHS 166. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
