Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor

Description: Explores in depth one or more great political thinkers from around the world. Focuses on methodologies of research and interpretation. May include works by Plato, Confucius, Machiavelli, Marx and Engels, John Stuart Mill, or Gandhi. May be taken Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) with consent of instructor and graduate advisor. Course is repeatable as content changes to a maxi- mum of 12 units.
