Description: An introduction to the for- mal analysis of politics, the role of strategic behavior, and the importance of political institutions in influenc- ing political outcomes. Covers the basics of social choice and game theory and their applications to strategic voting, bargaining, cooperation, agenda set- ting, executive vetoes, conflict, and legislative bargain- ing.
