Description: An introduction to the theory, politics, and law of human rights. Examines the emergence of human rights insti- tutions since World War II and ongoing dilemmas in the field. Topics include cultural relativism, criminal tribunals, truth commissions, and refugees.

Credit: Credit is awarded for only one of POSC 150 or POSC 150S.
