Prerequisites: graduate standing; HISE 151, HISE 152, or equiva- lents; HIST 256A
Description: A seminar on seventeenth- and eighteenth-century English history with primary emphasis on the historical literature within the field. Students complete a research paper. After completing both HIST 256A and HIST 256B, students may repeat the sequence once for credit; total credit for each course may not exceed 8 units.
