Description: An application of basic principles in school psychology. Includes special edu- cation (SPED) law, California Education Code, and American Psychological Association diagnoses. Covers SPED eligibility, cultural sensitivity, diversity, and applied skills in cognitive and academic assessment. Addresses consultation, observation, and interviewing. Offers supervised experience in school-based settings. Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). Course is repeatable to a maximum of 2 units.
