Description: An application of basic principles in school psychology. Includes special education (SPED) law, California Education Code, and American Psychological Association diag- noses. Covers SPED eligibility, cultural sensitivity, diversity, and applied skills in cognitive and academic assessment. Addresses consultation, observation, and interviewing. Offers supervised experience in school- based settings. Graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC). Course is repeatable to a maximum of 2 units.
