Description: Examines gendered dimensions of contemporary and historical genocides. Analyzes the ways gender ideologies intersect racialization and eth- nic marking. Explores how gender shapes selection, forced labor, torture, and murder. Considers gender ideologies in relation to collective, institutional, and individual responses to genocide and genocidal cam- paigns. Fulfills the Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
